Blow up analysis
Point of
view: Cortazar uses first person to relate the story.
Setting: Michael's
room, relates the story.
Characters:
The main character in the story is Michael, but there are secondary characters
li the man and woman in the photo that Michael took.
Plot:
Michael is in the Parisian Park, where he starts taking pictures through his
camera until he finds the man and the woman. After realizing what both were
doing he gets mad, to the point he has troble with the hallucination.
Symbols: The
camera and the clouds of his allucinatons, these represent a lot of bad
memories to Michael, to the point of mencioning them, cause the narration to be
confusing
Language:
Cortázar uses a sort of poem writing (Too philosophical, but I may be wrong).
Themes:
Blindness? (Im unsure)
